Using CiviCRM Groups Sync to Restrict Content
CiviCRM allows you to create Groups of Contacts or Members. You may already be using Groups to create mailing lists, but did you know you can also allow users to access content based on Groups?
Restricting Menu Items and Front-End Content
Groups are useful if you have content on your public-facing website that should only be accessible to staff or perhaps available only with a paid membership to your organization. You can also create Groups based on membership tiers so that different levels of membership provide users access to different content. If the restricted content is navigable through your website’s menu, it’s possible to conditionally display the menu items with Groups, too.
Restricting CiviCRM Admin Functions
Groups can be used to limit the admin areas of CiviCRM so users have access only to the areas their jobs require.
